Apple AirPods Pro On Sale For Lowest Price Ever, Includes USB-C Charging Case
The Apple AirPods Pro are among the most popular Bluetooth earbuds on the market, especially for those already in the Apple ecosystem. The Pro model, which is Apple’s best, is quite pricey at $249. Though we do see deals on AirPods semi-regularly, there’s never been a deal as good as the one running at Amazon and Best Buy right now. For a limited time, you can grab a pair of AirPods Pro for only $180. It’s certainly possible this deal could sell out, so grab it while you can.
$180 (was $249)
This deal applies to the latest Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) with USB-C Charging Case. As mentioned, this is the lowest-ever price for the AirPods Pro with USB-C, as they’re usually only discounted to around $210. Featuring the H2 chip for improved noise cancellation, a transparency mode to stay in tune with your surroundings, and four pairs of silicone eartips for a comfortable fit, you’re getting a lot of value at this new low price.
The earbuds make great travel companions as both them and their charging case are IP54-resistant to prevent damage from water, dust, and sweat–making them just at home on the train or bus as they are at the gym or baseball field. You’ll get up to six hours of battery life on a single charge, though that jumps to 30 hours when using the charging case.
If you’re not a fan of the silicone eartips on the AirPods Pro, you’ll find another nice deal for the Apple AirPods (2nd Gen). Typically listed for $129, they’re currently on sale for $99 at Amazon and Best Buy. This model includes a Lightning Charging Case instead of the USB-C Charging Case, though they’ll still work with both old and new iPhones and other Apple gear.
Alternatively, you can step up to the AirPods (3rd Gen) for $150 (down from $169).
While these sales aren’t technically part of Amazon’s Big Spring Sale, they’re running alongside other offers from Sony, Samsung, and Anker. We’ve pulled together a list of our favorite earbud deals at Amazon, so be sure to give the roundup a look before settling on a new pair of AirPods.
The Best Perks In Call Of Duty: Warzone Mobile
Warzone Mobile is live with a worldwide launch that brings back Call of Duty’s popular Verdansk and Rebirth Island battle royale maps. This works much like the PC and console version of the battle royale, offering you the option to pick custom weapons and perks. Not all perk packages are created equal though, so we’ll recommend the best ones to use in your next match of Warzone Mobile.
Perk packages explained
Warzone Mobile brings back the perk setup originally introduced with Warzone 2, when perks were grouped in preset packages. This means you don’t have the larger arsenal of perks currently found in the PC and console versions of Warzone, and you can’t pick and choose the ones you want for a custom package.
Best perk packages
Perk packages are going to be subjective, and if you’re playing in trios or quads, you might want to run a different package than your teammates. Two of the best options to choose from are the Warden and Deadeye perk packages.
Warden is probably the most well-rounded package, as it includes Double Time, Strong Arm, Fast Hands, and Quick Fix. This lets you have quicker reload and weapon swap, faster health regen times, as well as increased movement speed.
I would recommend in larger squad sizes to have at least one person with the Deadeye package for the benefit of High Alert, as it gives you (and your whole team, assuming they are communicating) the intel of knowing when an enemy player is watching you. High Alert is also paired with Scavenger for more ammo, Strong Arm for throwing equipment further, and Fast Hands for faster reloading and weapon swapping.
Additionally, a third option could be Scout. This will mostly benefit snipers looking for better aim stability and stealth. This package also has Scavenger for more ammo, Strong Arm for throwing equipment further, but the main benefits include the Focus perk for reduced flinch while ADS and the extended Hold Breath duration, as well as the Ghost perk for becoming undetectable from UAVs, portable radars, and heartbeat sensors.
This should help you pick the best perk packages for your playstyle and team. We also have a guide for the best settings for touchscreen and controller, and we walk you through how to pair a controller for Warzone Mobile.
How To Use A Controller With Call Of Duty: Warzone Mobile
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile lets you relive some nostalgia on the Verdansk and Rebirth Island maps, and you’re not limited to touchscreen controllers here. You just need a controller with Bluetooth capabilities, and we’ll walk you through the steps for getting it connected on Warzone Mobile.
How to pair controller with Warzone Mobile
First, make sure you have Bluetooth Enabled on your mobile device, which is done through the device’s settings. Then, you can pair your controller.
Some supported options include:
- Xbox Wireless Controller for Series X|S
- Xbox Elite Wireless Controller for Series X|S
- Sony PS5 DualSense Wireless Controller
- Sony PS4 DualShock 4 Controller
Every controller will be different, but to enable pairing on an Xbox Wireless Controller, you’d press the small button just to the left of the USB port on the controller, and for the PS5 DualSense you’d press and hold the Share button and the PlayStation button at the same time until they flash blue.
Within your device’s Bluetooth settings, locate the controller you’re trying to pair and connect to that device. It will be labeled as Xbox Wireless Controller or whatever the controller type is you’re trying to pair.
Next, open the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile app. It doesn’t automatically indicate anything on the screen or in the settings that you have a controller connected. Just make sure your controller is turned on, and all you need to do is press a button or move the thumbsticks to get the “Controller Connected” message to appear.
Just beware that if your mobile device is left idle, the Bluetooth connection may disconnect, and you will have to reconnect your device to the controller using the process above.
Most of the menu functionality in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is still touchscreen-only, like choosing a playlist or customizing a loadout, but Activision says this is to be expected and not an issue with your controller. The game should seamlessly switch over to full controller functionality once you start a match of battle royale or multiplayer.
