Dragon’s Dogma 2 – Prey For The Pack Quest Guide

Some quests in Dragon’s Dogma 2 are fairly straightforward, but there are those that will make you scratch your head. One of these takes place in the wilderness and you have to traverse the area at night. Here’s our guide on how to complete Prey for the Pack in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

How to complete Prey for the Pack in Dragon’s Dogma 2

The Prey for the Pack quest comes from Morris. He’s the item shop vendor in Checkpoint Rest Town. It seems that his grandson, Rodge, has been kidnapped. After promising to help him out, make your way near the oxcart station at the entrance of town. There, several NPCs should tell you about what may have happened to Rodge.

A marker appears on your map–the fields north of Checkpoint Rest Town. You’re also given a hint regarding the Moonglow flowers that have an eerie blue glow at night.

The goal is to reach the Putrid Cave further to the east.

However, upon arriving at the marked location, you’ll realize that there’s nothing there. But, if you continue to follow the Moonglow flowers, they’ll lead you to the Putrid Cave all the way to the east. Inside, you need to defeat several rabid wolves.

Gallery

Follow the Moonglow flowers (left), and you’ll eventually find yourself in a cavern that has half a dozen wolves (right).

With the wolves taken care of, you can escort Rodge out of the cavern. It’s going to be a long trek since you need to bring him all the way back to Checkpoint Rest Town.

As an aside, it’s possible to carry NPCs and then use a Ferrystone to travel to a waypoint. However, we’re uncertain if this would work with Rodge for this quest. Even if it does, you might not want to waste Ferrystones this early in the campaign.

Make the long journey back to Checkpoint Rest Town to complete the mission.

In any case, speak with Morris once you’ve returned Rodge safe and sound. He’ll give you 11,000 gold and 2x Miracle Roborant. This completes the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Prey for the Pack quest.

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Jadeite Orb – Who Should You Give It To

There are quests in Dragon’s Dogma 2 where you’re forced to choose between two outcomes. But what if we told you that you can actually grab both sets of rewards? Here’s our guide on the Hunt for the Jadeite Orb Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Jadeite Orb – How to get both rewards

The Hunt for the Jadeite Orb quest takes place in Checkpoint Rest Town. Upon arriving there, a merchant named Offulve will tell you that he desperately needs the Jadeite Orb. Then, upon crossing the street, a merchant named Everard says that he’s willing to pay a handsome reward for the same item.

Purchase the Jadeite Orb from the Scrap Shop.

Buying the Jadeite Orb and potential rewards

You can purchase the Jadeite Orb from Ibrahim’s Scrap Shop at the back alley. It costs 7,500 gold. Initially, you have two choices on who should receive the item:

  • Offulve: 3,000 gold and 1x Elite Camping Kit.
  • Everard: 12,000 gold and 1x Ring of Skullduggery (increased damage when attacking from behind).

At first glance, you’d probably go with Everard, But there’s a method to get both Dragon’s Dogma 2 Jadeite Orb rewards.

Gallery

Should you give the Jadeite Orb to Offulve (left) or to Everard (right)?

How to get both rewards from Offulve and Everard

Here’s what you need to do if you want both rewards from the Hunt for the Jadeite Orb quest:

  • Don’t hand over the authentic item to anyone just yet.
  • Instead, tell the Scrap Shop merchant, Ibrahim, to create a forgery. This costs 2,000 gold.
  • Wait a couple of days in-game and check if the forgery has been created.
  • Give Everard the forgery. He’ll want Ibrahim to inspect its authenticity.
  • Talk to Ibrahim and bribe him. You’ll give him 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, and, finally, 6,000 gold.
  • When Everard returns, Ibrahim will claim that the forgery is the real deal.
  • Give the authentic item to Offulve.
A forgery and a bribery all in one day.

You should receive the following rewards: 1x Elite Camping Kit and 1x Ring of Skullduggery. You did lose around 6,500 gold in total, but, hey, it is what it is.

This is how you can complete the Hunt for the Jadeite Orb in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Do take note that we’re unable to confirm if there are long-term ramifications for this decision. Even much later in the campaign, Everard had no new dialogue for us, and we never found Offulve again.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Isn’t Getting DLC Or A Sequel From Larian

Larian Studios has some bad news for fans who are holding out for Baldur’s Gate 3 DLC or expansions–it won’t be getting any. Even if some fans will be disappointed, CEO Swen Vincke said it was the right thing for the studio, explaining that the team were “elated” when he made the decision to stop working on a planned DLC.

Speaking to IGN at this year’s GDC, Vincke revealed that Larian was at one point working on DLC for Baldur’s Gate 3. “Because of all the success the obvious thing would have been to do a DLC, so we started on one. We started even thinking about BG4,” he said.

Now Playing: 13 Combat Tips For Baldur’s Gate 3

When the team started working on the DLC, however, Vincke said it didn’t feel quite right. “You could see the team was doing it because everyone felt like we had to do it, but it wasn’t really coming from the heart,” he explained. “We’re very much a studio from the heart. It’s what gotten us into misery and it’s also been the reasons for our success.”

The turning point came after Vincke took some time off for a Christmas vacation, returning with his mind made up on the question of DLC. “I told the team, ‘You know we’re not going to do it. We’re going to shift around and we’re going to start doing these other things that we talked about, that we planned on doing before we started on BG3,'” he said. “So let’s just have closure on BG3, it’s been great. We’ve done our job. It’s a story with a beginning, a middle, and an end. So let’s pass the torch to another studio to pick up this incredible legacy.”

Vincke says most of the team was aligned with this decision, describing “elated faces” among the rest of the team on hearing the news. “It was more routine work than actually being excited. Now we have the excitement back in the room and that’s a big important thing.”

In an interview with GameSpot at GDC, Vincke confirmed that Larian wouldn’t be working on a Baldur’s Gate 4, saying “We want to do big, new things. We don’t want to rehash the thing that we’ve done already.” While that leaves the future of Baldur’s Gate with Wizards of the Coast, who may choose to hand the franchise off to another studio, Larian’s future plans are looking ambitious.

Vincke has spoken on the future of the studio, explaining that Larian is ultimately working towards “the very big RPG that will dwarf them all”–a big call given how massive Baldur’s Gate 3 already is. While the team at Larian is already looking to its future, Baldur’s Gate 3 is still raking in accolades, picking up another Game of the Year title at the Game Developers Choice Awards.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 – How To Increase Carry Weight And Inventory

You’ll be looting a lot of items in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Naturally, there will be times when your characters get over-encumbered, leading to a loss of mobility. Thankfully, there are a few ways to alleviate these issues. Here’s our guide on how to increase carry weight in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Table of Contents [hide]

How to manage inventory and increase carry weight Dragon’s Dogma 2

You can manage inventory and increase carry weight through a variety of methods:

  • Trading with companions and using the storage
  • Leveling up
  • Rings
  • Golden Trove Beetles
  • Augments

Trading items and using the storage

The simplest means of managing your inventory is by giving heavier items to your main pawn and support pawns. Simply open your inventory and click the “Sort” button to arrange items by weight. Then, choose the “Give” command and select a pawn that will keep the item temporarily. This should lessen the weight that your character is carrying.

Later, once you’ve found an inn, be sure to deposit items you won’t need immediately, such as crafting materials. It’s also a good idea to store fresh goods (i.e. meat and fruits), especially if you’re not going out on a long trek. Food items can turn stale or rotten over time, but keeping them in storage prevents this from occurring.

You’re going to recheck your inventory numerous times during the campaign.

Leveling up and encumbrance

At certain level intervals (i.e. levels 10 and 20), you’ll notice an increase to your carry weight. This is shown as “Max Enc +3.0,” which denotes the boost to encumbrance.

Gaining additional encumbrance is always a good thing.

Rings that increase carry weight

A few rings also increase encumbrance and carry weight in Dragon’s Dogma 2:

  • Ring of Accrual – Slightly increases the maximum weight that the wearer can carry.
  • Ring of Triumph – Slightly boosts maximum health, stamina, and the weight that the wearer can carry.
  • Ring of Profusion – Moderately increases the maximum weight that the wearer can carry.

Note that some of these accessories are obtained as rewards when you turn in Seeker’s Tokens. There are 240 of these coins, and you can hand them to Vocation Guild NPCs to improve your total tally.

A few rings can help you lug around stuff.

Golden Trove Beetles

There are plenty of Golden Trove Beetles in the game world. You should spot these glowing items on tree trunks and rock formations. Consuming one increases the maximum encumbrance for you and your main pawn by 0.15 kg.

Be on the lookout for these glowing critters.

Augments to help you carry loot

The Thew augment increases carry weight, and it can be unlocked once a Fighter has leveled up and gained enough discipline. Once you’ve obtained it, you may equip it even if you change your class/vocation.

In any case, this is how you increase encumbrance and carry weight in Dragon’s Dogma 2. There are so many items and materials to discover in the game, so make sure you’re able to bring them all to your storage. Lastly, if you’re just starting out, be sure to check our beginner’s guide.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 – How To Change Your Appearance

So, you just started Dragon’s Dogma 2 and you realized a few hours in that you don’t like the Arisen’s looks. Well, worry not, since there’s a way to alter your character’s mug in the middle of the campaign. Here’s our guide on how to change character appearance in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

How to change the appearance of your character and pawn in Dragon’s Dogma 2

You can change the appearance of your character or main pawn by visiting a makeover shop in major cities like Vernworth or Bakbattahl. These vendors have a scissor icon to denote their location.

By default, you’re allowed to change the following at a certain cost:

  • Hairstyle – 10,000 gold
  • Makeup – 10,000 gold
  • Markings/tattoos – 10,000 gold
  • Change multiple (i.e. hairstyle, makeup, and markings) – 25,000 gold

As you can see, the prices are quite steep. As such, you probably don’t want to do this early in the game. Later, though, once you’ve amassed enough gold, then you can certainly make the necessary changes.

Having a makeover can be quite pricey.

How to completely alter the appearance of a character or pawn (i.e. body type and measurements)

If you really want a complete makeover, then you need the Art of Metamorphosis. This item is sold by Pawn Guild vendors in major cities, at the cost of 500 Rift Coins (RC). Rift Coins are obtained through the following means:

  • Activating Forgotten Riftstones for the first time.
  • Having another player go on an adventure with your pawn.
  • Defeating certain specter-type enemies at night, such as Phantoms and Liches.
The Art of Metamorphosis allows for full modification, akin to what you saw during character creation.

Once you have an Art of Metamorphosis item, return to the barber shop and select the “Modify Appearance” option. You may then choose whether your character or main pawn has a makeover. This allows you to change their body type, measurements, muscularity, eyes, lips–the works–similar to character creation at the start of the game.

In any case, this is how you change character and pawn appearance in Dragon’s Dogma 2. If you’re just a few hours into your playthrough ,we recommend checking our beginner’s guide.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 – Claw Them Into Shape Quest Guide

You’ll meet many NPCs in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Some of them provide quests and, as you’ll find out later, additional bonuses. One, in particular, is encountered quite early in the campaign. Here’s our guide on how to complete Beren’s quest chain, Claw Them Into Shape, in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Table of Contents [hide]

How to complete Beren’s quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2 – Claw Them Into Shape

Beren is a veteran Warrior who’s training recruits in the Borderwatch Outpost, a small settlement that you visit within the first hour of starting the campaign. While there’s no prompt for it at all, you might want to tackle a certain objective as soon as you’re able to.

Quest: Claw Them Into Shape

Where to find Beren

You’ll find Beren in an area called Moonglow Garden. To get there, follow the western road from Borderwatch Outpost, then turn north at the campsite near the bridge. A few meters past that, you should see a path that leads to a grassy area to the east.

Note that Beren only appears in this area at night. As such, you should rest at the campsite to pass the time.

In any case, speak with Beren and agree to help him with the Claw Them Into Shape quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This mission has several objectives:

  • Gather three swords.
  • Find a recruit.
  • Defeat Beren by pushing him out of bounds.
A map showing Beren’s location

Where to find swords

You need to give three swords to Beren to complete this step. Any one-handed sword will do, including relatively cheap ones that are purchased from vendors.

Where to find the recruit

You should meet a boy named Humphrey once you reach the capital of Vernworth. If you walk near the inn or Vocation Guild, he should approach you. Tell him about Beren, and he’ll be off to train with him.

Gallery

Give the one-handed swords to Beren (left), and find him a willing recruit (right).

How to defeat Beren in a duel

Once you’ve completed the first two objectives, Beren will challenge you to a duel and you’ll automatically get teleported to the training area in the Borderwatch Outpost. Here’s what you need to do:

  • You have to push or throw Beren out of bounds. Try to avoid his attacks and wait for an opening. Once he’s been staggered, you can lift him up and throw him out of the circle.
  • If you get pushed outside, you’ll lose the fight, though the quest will still proceed to the next step.
  • If you just keep whacking Beren with attacks (i.e. just senselessly depleting his HP), he’ll get angry since you’re beating him senseless.

Once the duel is over, you’re told that Goblins are attacking the vicinity. Follow Beren and his recruit and take out the hostiles. Upon reaching the end of the pathway, a soldier tells you that a Cyclops has wounded some troops. This mishap causes Beren’s dismissal from the outpost, but that’s not the end of this arc.

Avoid Beren’s devastating two-handed blows, and wait for an opening to strike.

Quest: Beren’s Final Lesson

Wait or sleep to let time pass, then return to Moonglow Garden at night. Beren will be there waiting for you. He wants to get revenge on the Cyclops that injured his troops. The task now is to head to the marked location to defeat this monstrous creature.

If you’ve advanced further into the campaign, then there’s really nothing to worry about since the Cyclops is the weakest among all elite monsters. However, if you feel underleveled or undergeared, your best bet is to switch to the Archer vocation. This allows you to shoot its eye, its weak spot, from further away.

Once the boss has been defeated, return to Beren in Moonglow Garden (let time pass by as usual). He’ll leave the region for good, but he’ll relocate to another area.

Finish off the Cyclops–it’s an eye for an eye.

Beren’s new location: Checkpoint Rest Town

Now that you’ve finished Beren’s quests in Dragon’s Dogma 2, all that’s left is to visit him in his childhood home, which is located past the large gate in Checkpoint Rest Town. Here’s how you can get there:

  • Complete the main quest objectives in Vernworth–i.e. Caged Magistrate, Masquerade/Stolen Throne, and others–until such time that Commander Brant tells you to head to Bakbattahl. Brant will give you a permit for safe passage.
  • Ride the Oxcart in the western part of Vernworth, which takes you to Checkpoint Rest Town.
  • At Checkpoint Rest Town, the guard at the main gate won’t let you pass (as a human character) since the permit is for Beastren only. As such, you have to purchase a Beastren Mask from vendors.
  • Wear the Beastren Mask and go through the gate. Just a short distance from the inn, you’ll find Beren’s childhood home, where he now resides.
If you’re a human character, you need the Beastren Mask to pass through the Checkpoint Rest Town gate.

With all the help you’ve provided, Beren will be glad to reward you with the ultimate technique for Warriors. In any case, that’s all you need to know about Claw Them Into Shape and Beren’s quests in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Fierce foes and loyal companions await you as you journey onward in Dragon’s Dogma 2. For other tips and strategies, you can visit our guides hub.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 – Caged Magistrate Quest Guide

You’ll often find yourself rescuing innocents in peril in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Still, there’s one fella who seems to be content with his lot, until you tell him about a particular hobby that he likes. Here’s our guide on how to complete The Caged Magistrate quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Table of Contents [hide]

How to complete The Caged Magistrate in Dragon’s Dogma 2

The Caged Magistrate quest comes from Commander Brant, an ally who provides all the main missions in the capital city of Vernworth. Here’s what you need to do to finish the objectives:

  • You’ll automatically receive the Gaol Key from Brant.
  • Enter the Vernworth Dungeon and speak with Magistrate Waldhar. You may need a disguise just to be safe.
  • Help Kendrick and Malcolm so you can gain access to the ruins.
  • Convince Waldhar to leave with you.

Where to find a disguise

Note that The Dragon’s Dogma 2 The Caged Magistrate quest does not explicitly say that you need a disguise. However, Brant mentions in a dialogue that you shouldn’t be spotted by the prison guards. Here’s what we did during our playthrough:

  • Before The Caged Magistrate, we first tackled a quest called Disa’s Plot. It entails following one of Brant’s soldiers to enter the palace.
  • We found a chest in the kitchen, and it contained the Marcher’s Helm, Marcher’s Armor, and Marcher’s Cuisses–basically the armor set worn by the guards at Vernworth.
  • We had all these gear pieces equipped when we did The Caged Magistrate quest. As of the time of this writing, we’re unable to confirm if this is actually required, or if you’d get discovered by guards if you’re wearing different attire.
Find a full set of armor worn by guards.

How to enter the gaol and find Waldhar

The task now is to enter the dungeons. There are a couple of entrances:

  • Head to the east of the noble’s quarters, then up the second floor of Baldwin’s Estate. Use the balcony railings to jump to the scaffolding, which leads to a storm drain.
  • From the Vernworth Slums, follow the southern path along the cliffside. Jump and mantle on the ledges to reach the gate.

Gallery

You can enter the gaol via the Noble’s Quarter (left) or the Slums (right).

You’ll find Magistrate Waldhar in one of the cells. You can unlock it and talk to him. It seems that he’s resigned to his fate, and he doesn’t want to leave the prison at all. The only way he’ll actually consider escaping with you is if you can tell him of a location that has a lot of books.

Note: If you talk to Waldhar several times, he’ll hand over the Towering Earth grimoire. This is one of the grimoires required by Trysha and Myrddin.

Waldhar seems resigned to his fate.

Where to find Kendrick and Malcolm

The next step in The Caged Magistrate in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is to find a location with a lot of tomes. There’s actually one that’s hidden in Vernworth:

  • Report back to Brant and he’ll mention Kendrick of The Gracious Hand.
  • Make your way to the Vernworth Slums. There’s an NPC named Kendrick in front of The Gracious Hand building. Keep donating money until you’re told about a boy named Malcolm.
  • To learn of Malcolm’s location, talk to the three kids near or inside The Gracious Hand building. It’s then revealed that Malcolm went through the small opening in the ruins.
  • Your party and Kendrick will enter the ruins. It might be dark down below, but there’s nothing to worry about since there are no tough monsters.
  • Upon reaching the inner chamber, the group will meet up with Malcolm. The child will then lead you to a repository that’s full of tomes.
Kendrick is looking for someone who can take care of the tomes.

Returning to Waldhar and Brant

Return to Waldhar in the prison, and tell him about the ruins beneath the slums. He’ll happily leave his cell, and you can escort him outside. Just follow the marker since it leads to a side path to the Vernworth Slums.

Report back to Brant and tell him the good news. This completes The Caged Magistrate quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. You’ll also receive 1x Ferrystone and 7,000 gold for your efforts. Note that there are other tasks that you need to complete in the capital, including attending the masquerade ball and discovering the Nameless Village.

Fierce foes and loyal companions await you as you journey onward in Dragon’s Dogma 2. For other tips and strategies, you can visit our guides hub.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 – How To Join The Masquerade In Stolen Throne

You might find yourself sneaking around in Dragon’s Dogma 2. One quest, in particular, requires you to mingle with the nobility while in disguise. Here’s our guide on how to complete the Stolen Throne masquerade in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Likewise, please be reminded that this article contains minor spoilers.

How to complete the Stolen Throne masquerade in Dragon’s Dogma 2

The Stolen Throne is a main quest given to you by Commander Brant in the city of Vernworth. You may need to tackle other objectives, such as The Caged Magister, before it appears as a dialogue option. Here’s a quick summary:

  • Brant tells you that you need to learn more about the False Sovran, the person who’s claiming to be the Arisen.
  • He tasks you with attending the masquerade ball to gather information.
  • Brant gives you the Eventide Mask. However, you still need “formal raiment.”

Where to find formal raiment for the masquerade

Formal raiment simply refers to the Courtly Tunic and Courtly Breeches. You’ll see these being sold at Philbert’s Sundries at the square, but the prices are an absolute joke (150,000 gold). You definitely don’t want to waste your money. Instead, you should obtain the Courtly Tunic and Courtly Breeches from other sources:

  • Noble Quarter: Allard’s Estate – The two rooms on the second floor.
  • Noble Quarter: Comptroller’s Home – The two rooms on the second floor.
  • Vernworth Castle: Regentkin Sven’s Chamber – Inside a chest.
Allard’s House is just one of the locations where you can find the Courtly Tunic and Courtly Breeches.

Attending the masquerade and looking for the False Sovran

Now, it’s time to attend the masquerade in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Make sure you’re wearing the Eventide Mask (given by Brant automatically), the Courtly Tunic, and Courtly Breeches–your choice of cloak doesn’t matter at all.

Head to Vernworth Hall at nighttime. The guards should let you enter, whereupon you’ll receive the Nobles’ Night Out achievement.

Once inside, look for the False Sovran and follow him to the second floor. Pass through the fake wall at the end of the hallway, which leads you to the Rose Chateau Borderlie.

Guards will let you join the ball if you’re wearing an attire fit for nobility, as well as the Eventide Mask.

Alternate method: Gain help from Wilhelmina

There’s also another method to complete the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Stolen Throne quest, which is actually what we experienced in our campaign:

  • We did not have the Courtly Tunic and Courtly Breeches. However, when we made our way to the palace grounds at night, we were approached by Wilhelmina.
  • There’s a short cutscene where the Arisen and Wilhelmina kissed to prevent the guard from asking too many questions.
  • Wilhelmina then gave us a card that granted access to the Rose Chateau Borderlie.
  • Upon entering her chambers on the second floor, guards arrived but she managed to distract them.
  • Wilhelmina told us to look through the peephole, which led to a cutscene that the False Sovran was just a puppet.
Wilhelmina might help you as well.

In any case, these are the ways you can complete the Stolen Throne masquerade in Dragon’s Dogma 2. If you’re keen on learning more about the false Sovran’s identity, then you might want to head to the Nameless Village. It’s also possible to do another quest that lets you romance Wilhelmina.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 – Where To Find The Nameless Village

There are several settlements that you visit throughout the course of the campaign in Dragon’s Dogma 2. However, some of them are shrouded in mystery, at least until you reveal their true purpose. Here’s our guide on where to find the Nameless Village location in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Where is the Nameless Village in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

The Nameless Village is located all the way to the east of Vernworth. The aptly named quest that leads you to it, however, might have certain requirements. In our case, we had already completed several objectives given by Commander Brant, such as The Caged Magistrate and the Stolen Throne masquerade. When we asked Brant about the False Sovran, he mentioned an interesting location that we should visit.

Journeying from Vernworth to the Nameless Village

As you can see on the map above, you’re bound to have a long trek if you want to reach the Nameless Village in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Make sure you’ve got the proper gear and that you have a couple of Camping Kits, too.

In any case, once you cross the river, you’ll stumble upon a rockslide. You can’t destroy it either using skills or spells. As such, the only recourse is to follow the path that leads south, then east, which takes you through the Eastern Forest. Along the way, you might encounter a boss monster, such as a Minotaur, so it’s up to you if you want to fight it.

A chat with the fake Maister

Upon arriving at the Nameless Village, you realize that the NPCs aren’t too happy about your presence. Still, continue up the hill until you reach the main building. Inside, you’ll meet a man named Flaude. Ask him about “Arthur” (i.e. the False Sovran), and he claims that he doesn’t know of such a person.

Flaude also says that he’s the Thief Maister, and he even gives you the Legend’s Opus scroll. However, you soon learn that he’s an impostor. In fact, the “ultimate skill” that you learn from the scroll deals damage to you more than your enemies.

Flaude the Fraud is trying to pull a fast one on you.

The Thieves Guild hideout

So, is our adventure in the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Nameless Village at an end? Well, not quite. If you check to the left of the building, you’ll find a ladder.

Drop down and follow the tunnel, which leads to a cavern with seesaw bridges and traps. The goal is to step on one side to raise the opposite side. You should then run and jump until you cross the chasm. Do this for the next section as well. Oh, and don’t forget to interact with the rope bridges so you have an easier time climbing back up.

Time your jumps to get across this section.

At the end of the cave system, you’ll find several shady characters, all members of the Thieves Guild. Their leader, Srail, says that he’s not familiar with an “Arthur,” but he does know of a “Darragh.” He also gives you an arrest warrant for the man. Likewise, Srail reveals that he’s the real Thief Maister, granting you the “true ultimate skill” for the Thief vocation. Here are other things you should know:

Congrats! You found the real Thieves Guild peeps.

When you’re done, return to Brant and give Darragh’s arrest warrant to complete the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Nameless Village quest. This lets you proceed further with the main arc in Vernworth.
