Manor Lords Is Coming To Xbox, But Not Confirmed Yet For PlayStation
Manor Lords, the medieval strategy game made by one person, is crushing it on Steam where it’s the top-selling game overall and inside the top 10 for most-played with more than 138,000 concurrent players. And this is to say nothing of its performance on PC Game Pass. Given the huge amount of interest in the game, many might be wondering if it’s coming to console.
The game’s developer said on social media that he is working with publisher Hooded Horse on an Xbox version. As of late March, the developer said work would commence “as soon as possible.” As for a potential PS5 edition, the developer said, “We’re still talking about it.” There is no word yet on a possible console edition of Manor Lords for Nintendo Switch.

Again, these posts were published on March 24, so it’s possible things have changed since then. However, given the success of Manor Lords so far on PC, it makes sense that there might be a financial motivation on the publisher’s part to expand the game to a bigger audience by way of a console edition. Keep checking back with GameSpot for the latest.
In a post celebrating the launch of Manor Lords, the game’s developer said on Reddit that they want people to leave reviews, whether they’re enjoying the game or not. The game is available through Early Access/Game Preview, and the developer wants to gather feedback.
“Most players don’t leave reviews. Or worse, people who had a bug will leave a negative review, while people who just had a great, good or even OK time, won’t leave a review. Please leave a review,” the developer said. “And I understand it’s going to be a mix of positives and negatives especially in that first month. I’m prepared! The game is early access for a reason and I’m very confident that it will only get better. I promise to work hard.”
Manor Lords is available at a 25% discount for the first two weeks, dropping the price down to $30. PC Game Pass users, meanwhile, can play the game as part of their membership.

The Witcher 3’s Official Modding Tool Arrives Soon, Will Let Users Edit “Almost Anything”
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s official modding tool, REDkit, will be available May 21, developer CD Projekt Red has announced. It will be a free download for those who own The Witcher 3 on PC.
As CD Projekt Red explains in the tool’s description on Steam, users will have the ability to edit almost anything within the developer’s critically acclaimed open-world RPG. They’ll also be able to make entirely new additions like new quests, items, environments, and characters, complete with new animations and storylines.

“The Witcher 3 REDkit is more than just a game development tool–it’s a love letter to our community!” CD Projekt RED states on the tool’s Steam page. “With The Witcher 3 REDkit, you can share your ideas, and inspire others to create a unique gaming experience that is truly your own. We can’t wait to see the amazing things you’ll do with it, so let’s come together and make The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt even more exciting and enjoyable for everyone.”
The tool uses many of the same tools that CD Projekt Red did to make the full game, though the developer does note that for those wishing to make a full-fledged game using REDkit, “achieving the full scope of development akin to the original creators may require access to external tools.” The tool, and the ability to install Witcher 3 mods, is currently only available for those who own the game on PC.
Mods have existed for The Witcher 3 long before the arrival of REDkit, though they should become even more prominent come its release. CD Projekt RED even reached out to mod creators and used some of their work for the game’s 2022 next-gen update for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
REDkit will hopefully help keep Witcher fans occupied while CD Projekt Red works on the next official installment in the series, which will use Unreal Engine 5 and will kick off a new trilogy of games. Last year, The Witcher 3 crossed 50 million copies sold, becoming one of the best-selling video games of all time.
Save Nearly 50% On Beats Studio Pro Noise-Canceling Headphones
The Beats Studio Pro are the most impressive headphones in the Beats lineup, offering a nice combination of style and performance. They also retail for $350, so they certainly aren’t cheap. But if you’re in the market for premium headphones with active noise-canceling tech, one of the best times to buy is right now. The Beats Studio Pro headphones are discounted to only $180 at Amazon and Best Buy. That drops them below the newly launched Beats Solo 4 headphones, which just launched last week for $199–and the Studio Pro headphones are better.
$180 (was $350)
Four different colors are included in the savings–black, sandstone, deep brown, and navy. All four are listed for $180. This deal matches the lowest price of the year and is just shy of the all-time low of $170. If you purchase through Best Buy, you’ll also get a bunch of free membership trials to Apple TV+, Apple Fitness+, Apple Arcade, Apple Music, and MLS Season Pass.
The Beats Studio Pro get you up to 40 hours of battery life, offer impressive active noise cancellation, and are powered by Bose’s custom acoustic drivers to offer rich bass and clear phone calls via the internal mic. They work wirelessly across Apple and Android devices–and other Bluetooth-enabled devices–include a 3.5mm jack and detachable cord, and feature three sound profiles for different types of media.
As a bonus, the headphones come with their own carrying case, making it easy to toss them in a backpack or suitcase without damaging them.
If you don’t mind increasing your budget, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra are also on sale. Normally listed for $429, today they match their best-ever price at $379. You won’t get as much battery life out of them (maxing out at 24 hours), but they do get you advanced spatial audio technology for directional sound, multiple noise cancellation modes, and ultra plush ear cushions for added comfort. The deal is available at both Amazon and Best Buy.
Fire TVs, Kindles, Echo Speakers, And Other Amazon Devices Are Discounted For Mother’s Day
Amazon is celebrating Mother’s Day with price cuts across most of its catalog, which could make it easier to find a gift for the mom on your shopping list. Everything from TVs and smart displays to Kindles and Fire tablets is discounted, so you should have no problem snagging the perfect gift without breaking the bank. Some products are even down to their lowest prices of the year.
Need help sorting through all the deals? We’ve pulled together all of our favorites below. Keep in mind that most of these prices likely won’t stick around beyond May 12, so be sure to cash in on the limited-time deals while you can.
Kindle Scribe
$280 ($390)
This might be the best deal of the bunch, as the Kindle Scribe is now down to the same price it was during Black Friday 2023. Only the 32GB and 16GB models are discounted ($280 and $265, respectively), with the 64GB model still listed for $420. All models offer a large 10.2-inch display, include the Premium Pen for taking notes or drawing, and come with heaps of useful features like converting handwritten notes to text, a lasso tool for moving your work around, and a two-column layout for a better reading experience.
Echo Dot and Pop
$20+
Looking for a budget-friendly smart speaker? The Echo Pop and Echo Dot are always a great choice. They’ve grown even more affordable for Mother’s Day, with both products now on sale. The Echo Pop is the cheaper of the two, listed for $20 (down from $40), while the latest Echo Dot is $28 (down from $50). If you want to bring some additional smarts to your home, you can bundle both with a smart light bulb–which can be activated via voice commands issued to your smart speaker.
Echo Show
$65+
The Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 5 are great choices for cramped kitchens or countertops, as they don’t require much space yet offer many of the same features as their larger siblings. You’ll find the Echo Show 8 discounted to one of its better prices of the year, while the Echo Show 5 is listed for its best price of the year. Like the Dot and Pop, some versions of these smart displays can also be bundled with a smart light for additional savings.
Fire Tablets
$65+
Fire tablets are an affordable alternative to iPads and Galaxy Tabs, which often carry massive price tags. These Amazon devices don’t have the same impressive hardware as their competitors, but they’re reliable, offer vibrant displays, and are much nicer for your wallet. The Fire Max 11 is a particular standout, as it gets you an 11-inch screen, up to 14 hours of battery life, and works with the optional keyboard and stylus.
Echo Buds
$55 ($120)
The Echo Buds true wireless headphones are down to just $55, which is nearly as low as their lowest-ever price of $50, making this a great chance to grab a pair. While they’re not from Sony or Bose, they still support active noise cancellation and sound customization options like those other brands. Thet run for up to 15 hours with the included charging case and charge fast too, getting two hours of music playback after just 15 minutes. Toss in support for Siri and Google Assistant, and you’ve got a well-rounded pair of earbuds.
Blink Cameras
$20+
Blink makes some of the most popular security cameras of 2024. Its lineup includes everything from the affordable Blink Mini to the versatile Blink Outdoor 4. We’d recommend snagging the Blink Mini if you need a cheap way to keep tabs on the inside of your home, while the Blink Outdoor 4 is better used out on a front porch or backyard. The Outdoor 4 is easy to install (thanks to a wire-free setup process) and somehow gets up to two years of battery life.
Fire TV Soundbar
$100 ($120)
The Fire TV Soundbar is also discounted, matching its lowest-ever price. Soundbars are a simpler way to upgrade your home theater than a full speaker setup, and the Fire TV Soundbar is a solid choice, especially at this price. The soundbar supports DTS Virtual:X and Dolby Audio surround sound and features a compact design that’s just 24 inches in length and should fit on most TV stands.
Amazon Fire TV Sticks
$20+
Fire TV Sticks are a great way to bring some smarts to your home theater. The cheapest option is the Fire TV Stick Lite, which supports Full HD and gives you quick access to apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and Peacock. Meanwhile, the Fire TV Cube is the most premium option, supporting 4K playback and access to connected smart devices directly from your TV.
Amazon Fire TVs
$120+
Amazon’s line of Fire TVs is a great alternative to products from Vizio or Roku, offering a nice combination of pricing and performance. The Fire TV 55-Inch 4-Series 4K is seeing one of the best discounts today, as you can snag the screen for just $370 (down from $520). Along with support for 4K, you’ll get HDR 10, Dolby Digital Plus, and tons of built-in apps.
Amazon Smart Home Devices
$20+
Looking to build a robust smart home? Amazon has plenty of gadgets for you to choose from. A handful are currently discounted for Mother’s Day, including the Amazon Smart Air Quality Monitor for $54 (down from $70) and the Echo Glow Smart Lamp for $20 (down from $30). The Amazon Smart Plug (on sale for $20) might be the best option for most homes, as it lets you control “non-smart” devices like lamps or even coffee makers via the Amazon mobile app.
This $13,000 John Wick Pinball Table Comes With A Piece Of His Suit
Just when you’d thought you’d seen the last of John Wick, the world’s deadliest assassin is preparing to return in a brand-new pinball game. Yeah, we’re thinking he’s back. Developed and produced by Stern Pinball, this new table will include film-inspired mechanical features and artwork, as well as a “dynamic” AI combat system to replicate Wick’s talent for mowing down disposable henchmen.
Stern says that players will follow John Wick as he fights to escape his past, and the table incorporates models and artwork inspired by iconic locations like the New York Continental Hotel and the Red Circle Club. The AI combat system controls the enemy lights on the playfield, allowing for enemy icons to respond to player behavior and illuminate dynamically around the playfield to provide a more challenging experience. All lights are controlled by player actions, timers, and random number generations, so this software is designed to keep players on their toes as enemies “move tactically” to counter your pinball wizardry.
Another neat touch is that every three enemies you eliminate will result in footage of Wick in action being broadcast on a video player. Ian McShane–who played the Continental Hotel manager Winston in the films–will also provide custom narration and the table has an original score composed by Charlie Benante of Anthrax and Pantera fame.
This table even has some screen lineage to the John Wick films, as pieces of Wick’s iconic suits that were used in the production of the movies are included as a franchise artifact in the limited-edition versions. Finally, the table has some very nice art by acclaimed artist Randy Martinez, who produced original neo-noir-style paintings for this release.
Naturally, these tables won’t be cheap and several versions will be available with bonus extras. The Pro Edition starts at $6,999, the Premium table costs $9,699, and the previously mentioned limited-edition table is an eyewatering $12,999, and only 1,000 of them will be produced. This particular version also has integrated lighting systems that are synchronized to custom light shows specifically designed for every song, and several other premium materials in its design.
While John Wick’s story seemingly came to an end in the fourth film, the world around him is still being fleshed out. Lionsgate has another spin-off TV series in development and the John Wick-related movie Ballerina starring Ana de Armas was recently delayed to June 6, 2025, so that more action could be added. Keanu Reeves will make a cameo in that film alongside McShane, and beyond that, John Wick director Chad Stahelski has a few ideas for John Wick 5, if it ever happens.
New “Fire Vapor” Xbox Controller Announced, Out Now For $70
Microsoft has announced a new Xbox controller, the Fire Vapor Special Edition. It’s part of the Vapor series, and previous controller launches have included Stormcloud, Dream, and Noctural. But this newest Vapor controller is styled around the element of fire.
“Feel the power of fire in your hands,” Microsoft said in its description of the controller.
The Fire Vapor controller works with Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and it also allows you to control Xbox games streamed to your phone via Bluetooth. Additionally, it comes with a dynamic background for your Xbox that’s exclusive to this controller.
Like other Special Edition Xbox controllers, the new Fire Vapor controller sells for $70 USD. It’s being sold exclusively through the Microsoft Store, so you won’t see it at Target or Walmart.
Microsoft announced this new Xbox controller on the same day that it announced dramatic and difficult news for its studios. The company is closing four Bethesda studios, including Arkane Austin, the developer of the vampire game Redfall. Related to that, support for Redfall is ending, and Arkane will not deliver the promised DLC.
